Banana Honey Toast For Breakfast

A lot of people tend to skip breakfast for a number of reasons, one of which is time constraints. Seeing as this is probably the most important meal of the day, easy to prepare meals come in handy.

I came across this quick and easy recipe last week. Nothing fancy but the combination of banana, lemon juice and thyme on toast brings up the taste a notch or two above your typical bread & butter sammy, making this one a pretty darn good choice for a bite at breakfast.

Preparation time: 3 minutes

What you need:

-2 slices of toast bread

-1 banana

-1 tablespoon honey

-slices of ham or turkey

-1/2 lemon juice

-1/2 teaspoon thyme

Directions:

1. Fry both slices of bread in a toaster until they have a crispy brown look.

2. Top bread with ham and banana slices.

3. Add honey, lemon juice and thyme.

Nutritional analysis:

10g Proteins, 50g Carbs, 2g Fats, 258 kcal
