Eat Your Age!!

I’ve written several articles over the years about eating right and the truth is it’s easier said than done. I’m asking you to change a habit you’ve had for years that’s burnt permanently into your brain cells. I’m telling you what you should be eating, how to make choices, which is the safer option etc. Now for most of you that didn’t work, so… I’ve decided to scare the be-Jesus out of you with plain and simple facts.

First off, your metabolism slows down 10-12% a year after the age of 30 and studies have now shown that number is getting lower. The reality you have to face now is will I survive the constant barraging of TV commercials and ads food companies use to get you to purchase their processed, artificially flavoured foods. Keep in mind that they don’t know you from the can that it comes in so why would they care about what it’s doing to your body long term. 9 times outta 10, if it has a TV commercial, then it can’t be good for you! Think about it.

Now I know for those of us who have lived abroad for many year have enjoyed a variety of foods that you can’t readily get here or even cheaply, so when we go away we figure, what’s one or two or ten meals, I’ll work it off at BODYBYPONZ BOOTCAMP. What you fail to realize is when you stop, you are starting over! You have to start over with your body getting rid of the bad food in your system, getting your digestive system to properly process the healthy food that you’ve come back to.

Fortunately there’s a way to turn things around. Get in a routine with planning nutritious meals now, write out a weekly meal plan to include dinner recipes for healthy lunches for the following day and drink plenty of water. You’re grown, so Eat your age!
