Moet & Chandon, prestigious champagne house synonymous with success since 1743, feted African business leaders, technology professionals and key opinion formers at the just concluded Social Media Week exploring how to leverage digital tools to move Africa forward.
The event tagged “An Evening with Elders” was presented by Pan Africa Civil Society organization Africa 2.0 as part of high octane events for the Social Media Week. Held at the Porsche centre in Lagos, glasses upon glasses of Moet & Chandon champagne were served during the roundtable discussions.
The session featured Tonye Cole, CEO of Sahara Energy Group; Uche Pedro, Founder, BellaNaija.com, and Ndidi Nwuneli, Executive Director, LEAP Africa. The session was moderated by award-winning journalist Nkiru Asika.
Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo originally billed as honored guest couldn’t attend but sent in a letter that stressed the need for inter-generational dialogue among Africans.
